Artists notes: Conspiracy #1 “With regards to the Flintstones, the conspiracy is that the two cartoons exist in the same world AND at the same time. Bedrock is like the Amish country of the future where the Jetsons exist: the people choose to live an old-fashioned lifestyle with minimal influence of modern technology. However history is rarely recreated accurately so dinosaurs have been genetically created to live amongst humans (and thus why many of the dinos aren’t actual species). When the Jetsons met the Flintstones in that one movie it wasn’t time travel but TELEPORTATION! George barely remembers what grass is in the same way that I would barely remember what a butter churn is.”
Conspiracy #2 “Rumor has it that Bikini Bottom is located below Bikini Atoll, the nuclear test site for the US. So all the wacky stuff that happens in the show could, in theory, be a result of nuclear radiation.”
Here’s a useful art exercise. Take a screenshot from one of your favourite shows and re-draw it in a different style. If the characters are animals, draw them as humans, if the show is live-action, draw it as a cartoon, etc.
I did it with Spongebob Squarepants.
Good god, this is perfect

Sadly, we didn’t get to attend San Diego Comic Con this year, so we missed out on these awesome posters from the Cartoon Network booth. Can you spot all the characters?
